Gift of Life Partnership
intro
Mu Epsilon Delta is excited to continue our official partnership with Gift of Life this upcoming academic year! As a philanthropy partner, Mu Epsilon Delta’s goal is to encourage every chapter to:
1) Learn about Gift of Life’s missions and operations.
2) Set up donor drives for each for members to participate in.
3) Communicate with Gift of Life in order to address their needs in various areas.
Our partnership with Gift of Life has opened up opportunities for our members to advocate and create change for individuals around the world battling blood cancer. We are truly grateful to be able to strengthen our connection with the Gift of Life team, and can not wait to see what our members will do!

Mu Epsilon Delta National Grants
Emma n. Huffman chapter project grant
This $1150 grant is given to a chapter for the purpose of carrying out a service project for the benefit of the chapter’s local community. Our University of South Florida Chapter used these funds in order to create a healthcare panel discussing common stigmas that can affect patient care.
distinguished individual award
This $400 grant is given to one of our students across all of our chapters that embolizes our pillars and acts as a role model within their chapter. They can use these funds for professional development costs such as traveling to a conference, exam preparation material, and application fees
global giving grant
This $1000 grant is given to a group of 1-3 members to alleviate the cost of traveling to another country and partaking in a service project there.
